The retail building was in a dilapidated state. No link between ground floor and first floor and security was non existent.

We ripped our the existing fit-out, broke through into a space to connect ground and first floor to give a clear canvas to fulfil the brief….

We moved our business recently to a premises that was a retail shop on the ground floor and a separate entrance to the upper floors used previously for offices. Combining the two separately rented areas into one needed a lot of understanding to follow all the rules and regulations that were required….queue Matt.

Without Matt we would have been lost, at every stage he had put everything in place, fire, asbestos reports, health and safety, building regs the list goes on, we felt very reassured at all times.

He was always mindful of disturbing the neighbouring businesses, we only found out he had informed them all of the works that were going to be carried out when we were approached by them to say, ‘ what a very understanding and polite contractor we had and that they couldn’t believe he took time out to let them know, unheard of !!!’

Onto his work…we have had lots of work carried out personally over the years and lots of nightmares so wasn’t looking forward to the experience. We can honestly say from the moment we met Matt to finishing the works we felt we were in excellent hands. He always did his utmost to find solutions to our many queries and worries, nothing was to much trouble, he was amazing !!! His attention to detail and quality of work was second to none, it was though he was always thinking, if it was for himself what would he expect.

The finished premises has turned out exactly how we envisaged it and more, we are so pleased.

We couldn’t speak more highly of Matt and he will be very embarrassed when we say he is such a kind, thoughtful, reassuring man and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
